My name is Joanne Davidson. I am an at-home mother, a former professional daycare provider and a homeschooling mom. My husband and I have been married 12 years and we have 3 children: our oldest son is going on 11, our daughter is 9 and our youngest son is 6½. We share our home with 2 large dogs, a cat that adopted us, and the occasional, if short-lived, hamster.

I have been researching, writing about and teaching discipline for 8 years. In that time, I have coached and assisted countless families who have benefited from the Effective Practical Discipline lifestyle. Their successes are my successes.
